Victorian Volcanic Plains Conservation Management Network

Raising awareness about the value and use of native grasslands, seasonal wetlands, grassy woodlands & other ecosystems on the Victorian Volcanic Plains

PlainsTender is now open

SpeargrassRound 6 of PlainsTender is now open and Corangamite CMA is looking for landholders in the Corangamite and North Central Catchments on the Victorian Volcanic Plains Bioregion to improve and enhance native vegetation through activities such as:
• fencing of native vegetation
• strategic grazing
• weed removal
• pest animal control.
Landholders who register an expression of interest will receive a site visit to create a management plan. The management plan will provide landholders with information such as:
• vegetation type
• improvement and maintenance opportunities
• advice on best practice management actions.

Landholders will then have the opportunity to seek financial return to carry out the actions of the management plan. Successful landholders will be invited to sign a four-year agreement to implement the management plan.

To register an expression of interest or find out more information call Jannes Demetrious during business hours on 0459 835 628 or email –  here is the link to further information
Be quick to register as places are limited and it may not be possible to accommodate all expressions of interest.
