Raising awareness about the value and use of native grasslands, seasonal wetlands, grassy woodlands & other ecosystems on the Victorian Volcanic Plains

Build leadership skills into programs

Many landcare networks have focused on planting biolinks over the last few years and recently Grow West  has followed up a biolink project with a survey of the landholders. There is some interesting reading for those who work with groups and landholders about the interest and expectations of participants, see Biolink Report Survey.

The survey  involved landholders in the catchments of the Myrniong and Korkuperrimul Creeks near Bacchus Marsh, in Victoria The landholders also highlighted the importance to them of leadership and facilitation in the success of projects.
