Learn about Salt-lake Tussock-grass

Here is an invitation to attend a morning walk and talk session, looking at threatened and unique species of the Western District Lakes on 28 June. This event is particularly focused on the threatened Salt-lake Tussock-grass.

The Salt-lake Tussock-grass Poa sallacustris is listed as Vulnerable under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act1999. The species is endemic to south-western Victoria, where it occurs around the margins of salt lakes.
